Exercise can solve many problems. It can
wipe that frown off your faces and keep you peppy throughout the day!
The most obvious way by which exercise can
make a difference in our life is by controlling our weight. It stumps your mood
to be teased for being fat. It can ruin your day when someone makes a comment
on your weight, even if it's just a joke. One way to keep yourself away from
this is to make the haters stay out, but the other way is to shed off the extra
pounds! If you're bothered by what someone else has to say about your weight,
it definitely means you aren't fond of it; so why not get yourself what you
would be proud of? And once you love yourself more, and you have newfound
confidence, there's no doubting that you'll be much happier. Exercise also
helps to curb some diseases, like heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and
some hormonal problems too. Everyone knows that being sick makes you worried
and anxious, which only adds to your physical symptoms. Exercise would help not
only to cure disease in the long run, but also to keep you light-hearted and
peppy until you're cured. Exercise is a wonderful outlet for the huge burden of
anger, anxiety and tension that we have to deal with day in and day out; being
able to physically exert yourself helps is a perfect way to vent out your
stress. It was most useful for me when I was in a corporate college for my
intermediate education. I can't think of any period of time more stressful in
my life than those two years, and if I've survived them, it's only because I
made sure a little exercise was a part of my daily routine.
If you think you can't exercise because you
find yourself huffing and puffing after climbing just one flight of stairs,
you're mistaken. Exercise is actually the perfect solution to that! It
effectively raises your energy levels, so you're not always as tired. It helps
you have command over your body, and not the other way around. Keeping yourself
oxygenated helps you to increase your threshold for physical and mental work,
thereby making you more efficient. It helps your life settle down into a
systematic cycle, with the proper amount of sleep so that you'll wake up
feeling rejuvenated and ready to face the battles of your day. It can be a pain
to exercise when there's nothing to attract you to it. But it's so easy to make
it your daily dose of fun. Zumba and aerobics are my favourite forms of
exercise; what's a better way to release your problems into the open than
dancing them out? Exercise can help pull you out of depression by all of these
ways. And once all the negative feelings are out of your system, what's left
but to be peppy and enthusiastic?
